TFC Case Aide – PT
Our main priority is to provide a safe environment for the children
in our care. We accomplish this by setting consistent and fair limits,
having vigilant supervision, providing support, role modeling, teaching
appropriate behaviors and communication skills, and assisting in de-escalation
during crises. We also promote positive interactions and healthy relationships
(social skills) and skills necessary to live in a family (basic living skills).
We support our foster families in coordinating our care with the care they
provide in their homes, including following through on positive and negative
consequences
Responsibilities
- Works with TFC case managers to develop and implement treatment goals that address the individual needs of each child.
- Coordinates work with TFC case managers and parents/guardians to provide effective and meaningful interventions.
- Maintains appropriate personal and professional boundaries with clients, families, co-workers and community resources.
- Participates as part of the TFC crisis line rotation.
- Completes relevant documentation and reports.
- Maintains case records in accordance with agency requirements.
- Provides clerical and programmatic support to TFC Team members and other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of one year working with children.
- At least 21 years of age.
- You must have your own vehicle, in safe operating condition and which is insured. The
vehicle must be available for use during case aide time for transporting children.
We do also ask that Case Aides have a Bachelor’s degree; those without a Bachelor’s degree will
be considered on a case-by-case basis.
This is a PART TIME position - 20hrs/week.
Residential Program Supervisor
Ryther Child Center is seeking the right person to join our team as a Residential Program
Supervisor. Our Residential Treatment program serves high needs children unable to live at home,
many of whom are victims of physical and sexual abuse. These kids are now showing signs of sexual
aggression and display severe emotional and behavioral problems. At Ryther Child Center, they
are given a safe home and the skills to learn to identify feelings, understand personal boundaries
and develop respectful trusting relationships. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the day
to day operation, supervision, and management of assigned program and staff. Approximate size of
program: 12 clients & 16 staff.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible for services provided within assigned program and assisting in meeting program
goals and objectives.
- Regularly assess team dynamics and provide leadership to all program staff to promote
communication and cooperation among employees. Provide linkage and mediation for staff
members within program management team and program team.
- Facilitate/participate in program planning, development and evaluation.
- Provide regular and timely supervision to Residential Counselors and maintain documentation
of supervision meetings.
- Oversee all program intakes and discharges.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors' Degree in a behavioral science with at least five years experience supervising
residential/home-based programs for children, youth and/or families, or Masters Degree
with 2 years experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of family-centered practice principles.
- Flexibility and ability to work a varied schedule as necessary.

CD Residential Counselor/CDPT
Ryther Child Center is seeking people dedicated to the welfare of children to join our team as CD Residential
Counselors/CDPTs. Our Inpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment Program is a residential program for addicted youth of
ages 13 – 17 who are learning to live without drugs and alcohol. This family-centered program aims at enabling clients
to avoid relapse, build self-confidence and successfully re-enter school and family life. Our CD Residential Counselors
provide much needed support and structure to the program by working directly with the clients towards their goal of
sobriety. This position is a great way for those seeking certification as a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP)
to get their internships hours.

On-Call Residential Counselors
Ryther Child Center is seeking people dedicated to the welfare of children to join our team as On-Call Residential
Counselors.
Our Residential Treatment program serves high needs children unable to live at home, many of whom are victims of
physical and sexual abuse. These kids are now showing signs of sexual aggression and display severe emotional and
behavioral problems. At Ryther Child Center, they are given a safe home and the skills to learn to identify feelings,
understand personal boundaries and develop respectful trusting relationships.
We also have an Inpatient Program for Chemically Dependent Adolescent Boys working to achieve the skills necessary
to maintain sobriety.

- On Call Counselors are required to work an average of 5 shifts per month.
