Grants & Contracts Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Grants & Contracts Manager monitors assigned service contracts and grants to ensure terms are being met, including but not limited to reporting requirements, outcome tracking, funds management.  Tracks amendments and other changes as they arise.  Assures contract and grant deliverables are achieved. 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Maintains working knowledge of all contracts and grants assigned. Tracks amendments and other changes as they arise.

  • Tracking and ensuring timeliness with all required deadlines.

  • Coordinating with program, finance, development team members to ensure reports, invoices, etc., are compiled and provided according to contract or grant requirements and timelines.

  • Familiarity with program invoicing and tracking processes. May help with the creating of new program processes related to contracting and grants. 

  • Understanding of funding sources and prompting program management to see that funds are being spent in compliance with contract and fund terms. Helping track budget needs related to assigned contracts and grants.

  • Upon receipt from program management, verifies all monthly expenses are in compliance and forwards to Accounts Payable.  

  • Running reports assessing contract outcomes and coordinating with program management on their accuracy and timely completion. May help with the development of internal processes to ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate on grant and contract applications. 

  • Upon receipt of a new grant or contact, determine contract deliverables, timelines, and internal coordination needs to fulfil those terms. Completed in concert with program management and finance team.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of skill in communication and positive interaction with all Ryther employees, prospective employees, external agencies/companies and the community at large.

  • All other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain both client and employee confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, contract requirements, or other applicable laws and regulations.

  • Prior experience with project management or contract monitoring required.

  • Ability to collaborate across multiples programs and departments. 

  • Computer proficiency required. 

  • Database and/or excel spreadsheet navigation skills required.

  • Detail oriented perspective required.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Physical Requirements:

         Ability to perform a range of physical motions including but not limited to:​

  • standing, sitting for long periods of time

  • kneeling, squatting, and stooping on rare occasions

  • near constant use of keyboard for typing or 10-key entry
