What is the Ryther Luncheon?

The annual Luncheon is Ryther's signature event, with a goal of raising $350,000 to support services to young people and their families in Western Washington who struggle with mental illness, trauma, substance use, houselessness, and neurodiverse traits.  

 

The theme this year is Stronger Together. We recognize that when we work together, the strength of our collective efforts is powerful. Together, we can work to address our community's youth mental health crisis. By supporting Ryther, you help ensure that more children will have the care they need. We are stronger together.

 

How can I attend this year's Luncheon?

We will be back in person at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle this year on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Registration opens at 11:00am, Event start: 12:00pm – 1:00pm  

 

How do I register? Is there a deadline?

Registration will open in September. Advanced registration is now closed. For questions, email events@ryther.org or call 206.492.4069.

 

Registration will officially close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 14, or when the event reaches capacity. If seats are still available on the day of the Luncheon, they will be assigned through walk-up registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

What is the cost to attend the Luncheon?

Free! The Stronger Together Luncheon is a fundraiser for Ryther. However, it is not a ticketed event nor a cost to attend. During the luncheon program, you will be asked to make a gift by filling out a giving card at your table. Guests will be asked to make a donation in support of Ryther's mission with a suggested minimum donation of $150.

 

The match donation pool matches gifts over $300 given on the day of the Luncheon. All gifts will be matched up to the amount we have in the match pool. Our goal is to inspire donors at the Luncheon to give more than the suggested $150 during the event.

 

What is a Table Captain, and how do I sign up?

Ryther's Table Captains partner with us by hosting a table and inviting guests from their professional/personal communities to join us for a day of inspiration and hope - to raise awareness and support Ryther during the Luncheon.

 

If you are interested in becoming a Table Captain, please download the Table Captain Packet or email events@ryther.org to ensure you are on the mailing list to receive registration information the day it opens.

 

What are the COVID-19 safety protocols for the in-person event?

Safety protocols are subject to change based on government mandates and venue guidelines at the time of the event. At this time, it is recommended, but not required, for all guests to wear masks while not eating or drinking. In addition, all areas will be sanitized before the event, and there will be access to hand sanitizer in each room.

 

What if I have dietary restrictions or other special needs?

We can accommodate most dietary concerns. Please let us know prior to the event. Call 206.492.4069, or email events@ryther.org. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you.

 

Where do I park?

We encourage guests to carpool or arrive early to ensure parking nearby. Valet parking is available at the hotel for $19 for the 1st hour. Hotel self-parking is available on a first-come basis one block away at 1465 6th Ave. Entrances to self-park are on 7th Ave between Pike St. and Union St. Multiple nearby parking lots are also available. I need to cancel my registration. What should I do?

Thank you for letting us know! Please email events@ryther.org by October 17 so that we are able to cancel your lunch order. (Cancellations after this date can still be processed, but we will not be able to change our catering order after October 17).

 

I am not able to attend the Luncheon, but I want to donate. Can I do that?

Yes, thank you! If you cannot attend and would still like to support Ryther, you can donate online here or call 206.517.0203 to make your gift over the phone.
