Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN)
Child & Adolescent Eating Disorders Program

Ryther, a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral health services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN/LPN to join our dynamic team. This role will involve enhancing the quality of care for clients in our Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders Partial Hospitalization Program. The successful candidate will initially focus on providing exceptional patient care, and as Ryther expands to include residential services, this role may expand in both time, responsibility, and scope as the nursing team increases.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care Coordination: Work closely with medical providers, nutritionists, and the behavioral health team to ensure seamless care delivery to our clients. Facilitate communication, share relevant client information, and actively participate in care planning meetings.

  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough physical assessments of clients, including obtaining vitals and relevant medical history, to evaluate their overall health status and identify any immediate medical concerns.

  • Lab Coordination: Coordinate and perform laboratory tests and point of care testing as recommended by medical providers. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results to the relevant team members.

  • Triage: Assess and prioritize client medical needs, promptly addressing urgent concerns and coordinating with medical professionals when necessary.

  • Medication Management: Assist in the management of client medications, including refills, monitoring compliance, and administering as prescribed. Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and monitor for any adverse reactions.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Active RN/LPN license in the state of Washington

  • Experience in pediatric and adolescent healthcare, preferably with a focus on eating disorders

  • Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities or potential for leadership development

 

This position is part-time, 5 hours per day, Mon-Thur (8am-1pm).
