THE SAGE PROGRAM:

MOOD AND RESILIENCY INTENSIVE SERVICES

Ryther's Sage Program offers two intensive services for youth: Sage IOP: Mood and Resiliency and Sage PHP: Mood and Resiliency. Both programs emphasize the whole person and are grounded in evidence-based treatment modalities such as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Youth who have experienced mood disorders such as depression or trauma-related emotional stress will gain new coping skills to strengthen resilience. For guidance on selecting the right program, please review the information below or sign up for services for an assessment.

Choosing between IOP and PHP depends on the level of support your child needs. Both programs offer compassionate care tailored to each youth’s strengths and challenges, promoting growth and resilience.

Program benefits include structured support, personalized treatment plans, family engagement and support, emotional regulation, increased self-awareness, and improved distress tolerance. Here's how they compare:

Divider_1.png

Mood disorders are a group of mental health conditions that primarily affect a person’s emotional state. Youth experiencing mood disorders may struggle with persistent feelings of sadness, irritability, hopelessness, or emotional ups and downs that make it hard to manage everyday life. If your child has withdrawn from activities they used to enjoy, is showing signs of emotional distress, or has difficulty managing their feelings, consult with your child's primary care provider or mental health provider. Ryther’s Mood Intensive Services may offer the support and structure they need to build emotional resilience and thrive.
