Transitional Youth Services

Ryther’s Transitional Youth Services (TYS) brings critical mental health services to vulnerable and at-risk youth and young adults who are experiencing houselessness. Through the TYS program, Ryther places clinicians on-site at drop-in centers and transitional housing programs, ensuring that these youth have access to the mental health support they need in a safe, accessible environment.

Who We Serve

TYS serves youth and young adults who are facing homelessness and housing instability, providing them with access to mental health services where they live and stay. This population includes those who may be struggling with emotional challenges, mental health disorders, and the trauma associated with unstable living conditions.

Program Features

  • On-Site Mental Health Services: Ryther clinicians work directly within drop-in and transitional housing centers, meeting youth and young adults where they are and offering immediate access to therapy and mental health support.

  • Therapeutic Support: Participants have access to individual and group therapy sessions designed to address mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.

  • Case Management Services: TYS staff assist youth in connecting with resources such as housing support, healthcare, employment opportunities, and education.
