What is the Ryther Luncheon?

The annual Luncheon is Ryther's signature event, with a goal of raising $300,000 to support services to young people and their families in Western Washington who struggle with mental illness, trauma, substance use, houselessness, and neurodevelopmental traits.

The theme this year is Rise with Ryther. As part of the Ryther community, you are helping young people rise with resilience, hope, and a chance to heal so they may look forward to the future.

The Luncheon is a free event for all who want to celebrate our incredible community and learn more about how Ryther is rising to the challenge of addressing Washington's youth mental health crisis.


How can I attend this year's Luncheon?

We will be back at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle this year. All attendees must register to attend the event.

How do I register? Is there a deadline?

Registration will open on August 1.

Registration will officially close at 11:59 pm on Friday, October 14, or when the event reaches capacity. If seats are still available on the day of the Luncheon, they will be assigned through walk-up registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is the cost to attend the Luncheon?

Free! The Rise with Ryther Luncheon is Ryther's largest fundraiser. Guests are asked to register in advance. However, it is not a ticketed event nor a cost to attend. During the luncheon program, guests will be asked to make a meaningful donation in support of Ryther's mission. While there is a suggested donation of $150, any level of gift is greatly appreciated.

What is a Table Captain, and how do I sign up?

Ryther's Table Captains partner with us by hosting a table and inviting guests from their professional/personal communities to join us for a day of inspiration and to raise awareness and funding for Ryther's work.

What are the COVID-19 safety protocols for the in-person event?

Safety protocols are subject to change based on government mandates and venue guidelines at the time of the event. At this time, it is recommended, but not required, for all guests to wear masks while not eating or drinking. In addition, all areas will be sanitized before the event, and there will be access to hand sanitizer in each room.

What if I have dietary restrictions or other special needs?

We can accommodate most dietary concerns. Please let us know prior to the event. Call 206.492.4069, or email We will do our absolute best to accommodate you.

Where do I park?

We encourage guests to carpool or arrive early to ensure parking nearby. Valet parking is available at the hotel starting at $20 for the 1st hour. Hotel self-parking is available on a first-come basis one block away at 1465 6th Ave. Entrances to self-park are on 7th Ave between Pike St. and Union St. Multiple nearby parking lots are also available. I need to cancel my registration. What should I do?

Thank you for letting us know! Please email by October 14 so that we can cancel your lunch order. (Cancellations after this date can still be processed, but we cannot change our catering order after October 15).

I am not able to attend the Luncheon, but I want to donate. Can I do that?

Absolutely, thank you! If you cannot attend and would still like to support Ryther, you can donate online here or call 206.517.0203 to make your gift over the phone.
