The Rise with Ryther Luncheon is Ryther's signature fundraising event to raise $350,000 bringing together our community to support youth and families facing mental health challenges. This year's program focuses on one powerful message: Early intervention changes lives. The average delay between symptom onset and treatment is 11 years. At Ryther, we believe every child deserves access to care when they need it—not years later.
We will be back at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle this year. All attendees must register to attend the event. Mental health challenges often begin during childhood and adolescence, yet many young people wait years before receiving treatment. Ryther provides early intervention that helps children and families build resilience before challenges become crises.
Mental health challenges often begin long before a child receives help. When children receive support early, they are more likely to build healthy coping skills, strengthen family relationships, stay connected in school, and avoid more intensive interventions later in life. At Ryther, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to be heard early, helped early, and given the chance to heal, grow, and thrive.Together, we can ensure that no child has to wait years to receive the care they need.
More than 60% of Ryther's clients rely on Medicaid. While Medicaid provides essential coverage, it does not cover the full cost of care.Your support helps fund:Individual, family and group therapyTherapy supplies, sensory tools and creative activitiesExperiential therapies on Ryther's 9-acre campusMedication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)Transportation assistanceCommunity outreachTraining future mental health professionals through the Ryther Learning Center
