Appointed to Ryther's Board of Trustees in 2025

Joe is a distinguished professional with a remarkable career spanning over three decades in corporate business and community relations. Most recently, Joe dedicated 2023 and 2024 to supporting the Boeing Classic PGA Tour Champions sponsorship efforts, showcasing his expertise in high-profile event management and corporate partnerships.

Prior to his involvement with the Boeing Classic, Joe spent nearly 30 years with the Seattle Mariners, where he served 17 years as the Vice President of Corporate Business and Community Relations. In this role, Joe was responsible for overseeing the Mariners' corporate sponsorship and radio sales, as well as managing all aspects of the team's community relations efforts. His leadership and vision were instrumental in establishing Mariners Care, the club’s non-profit foundation. Under Joe's guidance, Mariners Care became a national model, providing substantial support to local charities, distributing thousands of tickets to Mariners games, and organizing hundreds of personal visits by players to hospitals, schools, and youth organizations throughout the Northwest.

As a Seattle native, Joe is a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School in Seattle and Carroll College in Montana. His deep roots in the community and his extensive professional experience make him an exemplary nominee for the Board of Trustees.
